Skipper's tip
Leave Gouvia by 08:00 and motor down the Corfu channel before the afternoon breeze fills in. You will be tied up in Gaios with time for a swim before the rush.
Hazard
Keep clear of the shallows off the Gaios south entrance, and watch for fast day-trip boats in the channel between 10:00 and 17:00.
